Fascias on trad Victorian semi

Posted by Lindsay Brindley, on
Recent storms brought down rotten wooden fascias from our Victorian semi- detached home. We like to keep an authentic look. Should we be looking to replace with wood or UPVC?

Hi lindsay, I would 100% replace in wood if you are looking for an authentic look as uPVC is good but still looks too modern for your property. Regards Gary

Hi lindsay. The decision only depends on your personal taste. UPVC is available in various colours and effects, but wood is more traditional. Look at the rest of the houses in your street. Do any of them have UPVC? Both UPVC and wood will look pleasing and be perfectly functional, so the choice is really yours. Hope this helps Matt A A Roofing, widnes

depends lindsay on what kind off facia it is and if it can be matched up in upvc i would think you cant match it up in upvc so i would go with what you had before .thanks ben mbc
