Hi Margaret If you are looking to have the moss removed I would advise strongly against pressure washing and sealing (painting) I would recomend a manual moss removal and then a moss treatment applied afterwards. If you are in the surrey, hampshire area I would be more then happy to pop round to have a look. Many thanks Scott

Hi Margaret If you have a tiled roof not a slate roof you usually find the that moss build up is due To the tiles coming to the end of there life span (approx 20/25 years on Marley tiles), unless you live in a area Surrounded by trees and folage as this can cause moss ect, If you get the roof cleaned off I recommend using copper wire across the top of the roof Below your ridges, the copper kills of the moss, But remember where's there's Moss there is Moisture Regards Liam Aplin

The only thing I could suggest is to clean of all moss on roof with a cosmic soda or by jet wash and then to put something like a thompsons water seal on it but in order to do that the roof must be dry so in my opinion I would save that for a summer job and can I all say I'm strongly opposed to roof paint its a waste of time and money
