Velux Sun Tunnels

Posted by Julie Robinson, on
I have an internal bathroom with no window and am considering having a sun tunnel installed on the south facing side of my roof. Do you have any advice/recommendations? How long will the job take and is it worth the expense? Thank you.

Hi Julie I have fitted a 14" Velux sun tunnel on my own landing which has no natural light and the difference is amazing, well worth the money. There are two types of tunnel rigid or flexi, the rigid gives alot more light but is a little more difficult to fit. Fitting should take no more than a day as there is minimal trimming required to the roof rafters. I would highly recomend. hope this helps.Ed

Hi, A sun tunnel costs around £270, should take no longer than 2 days for the installation from start to finish, they do project a lot of light into a room. Best wishes, Adrian Freeman and Green
