Implications of replacing 8 hip tiles

I lost 8 hip tiles in high winds a month ago. What would be a reasonable cost to replace these tiles? I need someone with a ladder, 6 tiles buying (I retrieved one and another is still sat on the roof) and some cement to bed them in. I've had a quote of £500, which for a days work seems very high to me.

Not sure which part of country you are from or if the hip tiles are antique one special types ? But for regular type the are under £10 each , therefore yes your quote is high. Suggest you put on rated people and get 3 quotes , budget under £250
