Sounds like condensation , is there adequate ventilation ? I've been to many roof repairs recently & most of the problems were condensation due to poor ventilation & poor insulation letting warm air hit cold felt , hope this helps

There's water droplets spread over the majority of the felt in my roof. Also part of the rafters are wet. How bad does it sound as from the outside nothing is visibly wrong, could it be a small leak leak or major work?
