Cleaning out and resealing guttering joints

Posted by Helen Charlesworth, on
I have a standard two bed semi detached house with guttering and downpipes running around all three sides of the property. The gutters require cleaning out and the joints require re-sealing as they leak each time it rains. Interested to know a rough estimate of what a tradesman would charge for this work. (I assume that scaffolding would not be required, but I don't know what the height limitations are before scaffolding has to be used - any info appreciated.) Thank you!

Helen Hi. If someone tells you you need scaffolding they are talking rubbish. A ladder with a step off is all that's needed. Look for a general maintenance guy and pay around £70 to £100
