Dry Verge with gaps.
I was advised by the tradesman to have dry verge fitted to my gable ends (House and kitchen extension) instead f just pointing. I took his advice. There are gaps between the roof tiles and the dry verge sections (they do not sit tight to the tiles).and the spacing between the dry verge sections are not evenly spaced. Rain drips of the ends because the dry verge does not meet the gutter and downspout.
The tradesman tells me that the dry verge is fine, and it doesnt sit tight because of the fall of the roof and the shape of the tiles (Normal roof tiles) and that my gutter is too short, (it didn't drip before the dry verge was fitted.) I know nothing about these things, so looked on U Tube and the dry verge sits tight to exactly the same type of roofs as mine.
I can see the roof of my kitchen extension through my landing window, but suspect that the house roof are the same.
Does this sound OK,?..
