Chimney caps

I have 6 chimneys, 5 need capping because I am not using them. The 6th I am using with a coal fire but getting a lot of draught coming down the chimney and that needs a cover

Gill, Easy pesy! Post a job on the website asking that you need a terminal for the top of your chimney can or cowel. Put a budget of around £ 100.00 for this. Dave

Hi Gill, Be sure you have a vent cowl placed on the chimneys you want capping as fully sealing them off will cause condensation inside them which will cause damp on the chimney breast.
