Are creases in a new flat felt roof normal?

Posted by S Kramer, on
Our new felt flat roof is only ONE day old. The cap sheet was laid in dry weather along with the base 2ml layer. However it started to shower lightly so a he came the next day to finish the final top layer with the torch on green mineral 4ml felt. The next day he came was dry and he dried of any damp patches with the blow torch before starting to lay the mineral felt. He has done a very tidy job and all was flat and fitted well, we have no leaking- however this morning it was raining and we woke to find some parts of the roof have creases/ripples across it - is this normal?? I find it hard to imagine water is under as it only showered slightly and you could see there wasn't any water marks when he torched the final layer. Where have these creases come from? Thanks

It's very difficult to comment without seeing the job , ask the roofer to call back don't rely on answers from 3rd parties it will only frustrate you, & generally the answers will be guessed & made up
