Mortar roof lining has perished. does this need fixing?

Posted by Simon Hacking, on
We've just had a homebuyers report done on 1930s semi-detached house. Surveyor flagged up that the mortar roof lining has perished and slipped down exposing the roof covering in a number of areas and requires repair. Would you recommend getting repaired before exchange, or is this just part of ongoing repair needed on a 1930s house?

What would you like to do now?
