Hi I had a roofer out today who says I need to replace my roof. I originally called him out as I have 2 very small black circles of mould on my sons ceiling. I live in a 1960s council house ( bought) and the roof has a Delta tiles on . He lifted one and said they were showing signs of wetness underneath. On further inspection of my loft some of the boards are showing signs of wetness where they join the next board in addition some of the wooden trusts are showing signs of a light coating of green mould . No daylight showing through and only showing signs of wetness at the joins. The roofer says I need to replace my roof ASAP , could it be another problem . Any advice appreciated .
