Hi Brian the best way to get anybody to finish a job is don't pay them till the work is complete, any reputable tradesperson would be happy with this arrangement. Unfortunately you have already paid so no longer have this leverage, if you got them off Rated People contact their customer services to see if they can help, if they can't the next step is Trading Standards at your local council. Learn from this and don't make the mistake of paying before the work is complete again. Ed
