Mouldy and warped plasterboard in loft space

Posted by Rob Snaith, on
Hi, We have moved into a home with a partially converted loft. The non-converted part is directly above the bathroom and 2 light fittings have been allowing steam to pass straight into the loft. This has caused the internal Gyproc boarding to become moudly and seriously warped. (is this the same as sarking?) The timbers all look fine but not sure about the felt behind the boards. Will the boards be replaceable from in It's a 3-bed detached brick cavity house. Thanks.
