1930s semi is extended to the back (single storey) by about 2.5m on whole width of the house (apox 6m). Currently the roof is made of some kind of semi-translucent sheet of plastic. We would like to have this changed to proper roof with velux windows. We know a builder that would be able to do it but would need drawings (and council's permission) - how do I approach this please?
