Flat roofing

The edge of the felt on my flat roof is stuck to a piece of wood which as gone rotten. Is there any way of replacing the wood without damaging the roof.

Hello, it would be very difficult as most of the time the drip edge is folded and then clout nailed onto the wooden fascia/drip batten. when we change rotten wood in this area its normally standard to replace felt drips (edges) as 'well. Regards Sam Affordable Roofing Pershore.
