Garage roof damp proofing

Re pointing were needed along the side of the flat roof flat roof cleaned off and sealed with a solar reflected finish Price £240 The above was a receipt given for work done to resolve damping on my garage roof. I am not sure if this was the correct work done . I had damp patches on my garage ceiling and the roofer said he would seal the ends as the rest of the roof was fine. The receipt above indicates the work done.Is this the right work for the job?
