Tiled roof cleaning

My house roof has moss and lichen on it which is creating a mess on my nice new glass roofed conservatory. I want it cleaned but have read on the internet that power washing is not recommended as it can cause further damage. I've had a couple of traders round to quote that will power wash it and have basically said what I've read is rubbish. What do you experts advise?

DO not power wash it manual is best you won't get all but most?

Power washing isn't recommended as it can easily damaged tiles, the generally accepted method is to rake the moss off with a plastic sprung tine rake. It takes longer to do but won't damage the tiles, the moss will grow back pretty quickly
