What do i do now?

I hired john higgins, a roofer to do 2 jobs for me. I paid a total of £3250. One of the jobs my husband had to finish and put right himself and the other job has just had a new team of roofers correct following leaking into electrics from the roof supposidly replaced felt thrpughput and leak fixed. Its all cost a fortune to put right. What can i do now to retrieve some of my money back?
