Yes if you strip it back use celotex insulation and a breathable membrane that way you will have no problems in the future
Replace cladding under bay window

Hello, the wooden cladding under my bay window needs replacing as it's rotten. I'm going to use upvc shiplap but should I also use insulation and breathable membrane? I need to make it watertight to the outside too.
