What type of flat roofing material is best?

What type of flat roofing is best? Our roof has lanterns (including one very large one) and a chimney. A single membrane rubber roof has been installed; it is ugly, ponds leading to puddling and staining, and it leaks. We are looking to replace it. Is resin best? GRP or another type? What is the long term durability of resin? Or would another material be a better option? Many thanks for your help.

Hi, I would avoid any kind of GRP fibreglass as this will only crack in time due to lack of movement ! This is a quick fix for an unskilled roofer. Another option would be a product called Resitrix. If you do your homework then I think you will find that this is by far the best product on the market.
