Removal of scaffolding

A roofer had scaffolding erected on 24th March and it is still there though job was finished on 25th March. Nobody seems interested in removing it I do not know the name of the scaffolder and I cannot get around the side of my house. How do I get it removed please ss I am worried sick!!

Hi Linda, If you appointed the Roofing Contractor yourself, you need to speak to him about the removal of the scaffolding, as he probably would have appointed the scaffolding contractor. Whoever is responsible for appointing the scaffolding contractor is responsible for notifying him to remove it. They generally want it removed as soon as possible to avoid extra hire charges, reduce the risk of theft. Hope this helps. Many Thanks. Andrew.
