Roof Repair advice

Posted by Emmanuel Ojugo, on
I have a slow leak in my upstairs bathroom in an isolated area. I believe this is due to a roof leak caused by a roof tile movement. I am looking to have the job done in March 2018 and would like a basic assessment so I have an idea about how much it is all likely to cost. I can attach a picture if necessary and I would much prefer to provide my phone number if possible on this forum.

Hi Emmanuel, it is always possible to diagnose a roof leak without carrying out a physical inspection, however if you have a photograph showing either broken / missing or dislodged tiles, this can go a long way to establish the problem. With regards to cost to carry out the repair there are a number of things to take into account, such as Roof height, is it a Bungalow, or 2 or 3 storey ? Pitch of roof ? Access requirements ? Type of roofing materials Slate/ interlocking tiles/ plain tiles ? I like to carry out an inspection, then provide a written quotation. Please bear in mind, Health and Safety is Paramount, and there is no such thing as a 5 minute job. Hope this helps.
