Have removed a column (hollow column which had a sewage pipe in it) which was part of/adjoining to a stud (hollow wall) to move the sewage pipe (which was residing in that hollow column) to the end of the wall. Now one of the trademan is saying that 'that hollow column' was supporting the first floor weight and the joists are deflecting so ceiling is dipping because the column is moved. Looking for an expert advise on it and then solution options if its really needed a fixing. Happy to share the floor plan to detail it further. Please throw in your suggestions.
