Our single garage flat roof is leaking a lot. We’ve had 3 quotes varying in price by £1000 or more! It’s old and is a sort of wavy corrugated grey cement/ asbestos material. However even this cannot be agreed on by the 3 roofers we’ve had out! We are a joined garage with neighbours. What are our options to stop it leaking? None of them really wanted to entertain painting a product on the roof to give it further life but I’ve heard good things about these products. On some similar garages I’ve seen a green metal/ plastic roof sheet installed (perhaps over the top of the existing roof?) the quotes to completely replace are at £2500 and we cannot afford this. Advice please.
