Do your checks include that they are registered with companies house?

I have just had some work done by one of your rated people - I live out of area to where my property is located, so there is an element of trust and pics to confirm that the job is complete. I'm a little concerned as I cannot find the company on companies house. Do you, as part of your checks, confirm that they are a registered company?
