We have used a roofing company called Kings Ridge which we found through Rated People. They have done an ok job although as it's the roof, we won't know until there's problem such as in the rainy season. We chose them over others as they promised us a guarantee certificate, verbally and by text. this has never been given, despite several calls and texts from us, usually met with excuses that it is on the way. We will be selling the property early next year so it would have been nice to have shown this to prospective buyers. We wondered if there is any legal obligation if a tradesperson has promised a guarantee for their work. Thank you.
