How to install a Marley cloak verge on wonky roof

Posted by Tony Philips, on
The last row of tiles at the dry verge are at a 10 degree slant (up the roof not sideways) I'm having them replaced with Marley cloak tiles. The roofer said that he'd need to cut tiles to join the cloak tiles with the existing roof. My question is, if the tiles are cut then the tongue and groove will be absent. Won't this allow rain to enter between the join? If so please could you let me know what a roofer would do to prevent this so I can ask them before they start work. Thanks
