My roof is being re-roofed. So far it has been stripped, re-felted and re-bettened. Quoting from my original quote "Installation of new breathable felt membrane and 25mm x 50mm treated roof batten".
Question - the roof has been left exposed to the elements over the weekend as they will return to work Monday. Will this shorten the lifespan of the felt and batten?? Should they have covered it with tarpaulin? They are saying it's watertight now with the new felt...
