Painter and decorator

GREAT job. Explained everything clearly, use of lining paper and overall honest about what the final quality would be like. He gave a fixed price and stuck to it. He painted the skirting boards with a recognition of the carpet being changed, varnished the window sill, door and painted the ceiling. The finished job is neat, slick, and exactly what was needed. Andy was punctual every day, and finished in the time initially indicated. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Painter and decorator

Andy did a fantastic job on a very awkward hall and staircase area. Very punctual. Left the area spotlessly clean. A fair price and an excellent finish. I highly recommend Andy's work.

Andy is an absolute credit to his profession - extremely diligent, thorough, reliable and trustworthy. We started just having Andy in to redo the living room, and were so happy with the results we called Andy back to do our hallway, stairs and master bedroom and he did an absolutely excellent job -we are so happy with the results. Will definitely get him back to do our nursery. I can unreservedly recommend Andy -was a lovely guy to have around very reliable, professional and discreet. Hire with confidence!

Excellent service! I can highly recommend Andrew! He decorated my living room, was on time, worked quickly and efficiently and kept everything very clean and tidy. I wanted a very good finish and although my paint was a bit tricky, Andrew did an outstanding job! Will definitely hire him again for any other decorating job I may need done in the future!

Painter and decorator

Andy was nothing but professional throughout the time he spent completing the job. A full re decorating of an office as part of an end of lease requirement. Andy went over and beyond expectation. Even when I had additional jobs that popped up at short notice, Andy was able to accommodate them. Trustworthy, friendly, great time keeping, high attention to detail and good at what he does. I would highly recommend Andy, will certainly be contacting Andy for future jobs and can not thank him enough!!

I want to know how to best sort this problem out. Will a coat of anti damp paint do.

Hi Reena, A coat of anti damp paint won't do it any harm but you may want to see what is causing the problem, is there a pipe on the other side of the wall that may be broken/ leaking/ blocked or a gutter that is overflowing above the area and causing the water to splash back up brickwork above the damp proof course. Regards Andy

Want to paint all the ceilings of my house, and thinking of doing it in Leyland SUPER LEYTEX MATT PAINT BRILLIANT WHITE. Is it good ?

Hi, I find the leytex leaves roller marks , especially if you have to go back over it, try Dulux Supermatt or vinyl Matt whichever is cheaper. I have been using Wickes Trade contract matt without any problems and a good price as well. Any of these should be good.
