Great job of removing an old storage heater . Not an easy task being on the 3rd floor with all the heavy bricks that had to go !! Alan did a fantastic job and even did some plastering on the wall . Tidied up afterwards . Thanks Alan .

I asked Alan to look at a rental property that my son has which is some 150 miles from me. He gave a prompt and honest service which saved my son £750 on which he had been quoted from the letting agent acting on his behalf. I would definitely recommend this man.

I have electric in-floor heat. The thermostat sensor is located under the slab. We seem to have trouble regulating the temps due to the electricity is only on from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We could have temps in the mid 70's during the day, but when we get up in the AM it could be in the low 60's. The rate per KWh is substantially less for the off-peak. Would it make more sense to have the power on all the time, so that it doesn't have to go through that heat up process every day. I think that the actual amount of electricity power could be reduced, and still keep a more steady temperature.

These systems are not designed for off peak . They are normally just on the domestic supply and the controller has a night set back facility to prevent it having to heat the floor from cold . The theory is it will use less power over all . Hope this helps .
