Excellent company to deal with, Brett is very responsive to calls, always getting back to me same day. Despite having an appalling September for rain (did delay them by 2 weeks but only to be expected) they got the work completed on budget. Workmanship is excellent and it has fixed all our leaks ensuring we get many more years use from our 80 year old roof.

Aplex Ltd is a very professional and extremely reliable roofing company. The director kept in touch at regular intervals, inspected the work in progress and the work men were courteous, timely and tidy. The financial payment timetable was agreed prior to commencement of work and there was no pressure at any time. The LA inspection & certification was also arranged by the director at every stage of the work in accordance with building regulations. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any one.

A professional service from quotation to delivery. Although not the cheapest quote i received it was the most detailed, with additional works quoted for at the outset which ensured the final works met building control regs. without hidden costs. I was kept informed of the progress of the job daily and any issues which arose (because replacing a 100 yr old roof is going to have some issues). Good finish to the work and the site cleared and cleaned at the end of the job. Would thoroughly recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate in using Aplex again or recommending them to anyone considering a roofing or general refurb/building contractor.
They're very professional, punctual, proactive in finding solutions to problems, keep you informed on progress and deliver a very high standard of work.
This particular project involved four freeholders and some difficult neighbours - everyone involved was impressed by Brett and the team at Aplex.

I have no hesitation in recommending Aplex. They are professional, reliable and efficient. From the initial site assessment to the completion of the work nothing was too much trouble. Detailed quotes and guarantees were provided in writing. Aplex even went as far as to liaise with other neighbours in my block to discuss their concerns prior to carrying out the work. Brett kept in contact at every stage and it is clear that customer satisfaction and providing sound work is his number one priority.

A positive experience with Aplex. I got four different businesses to quote for the work and they varied dramatically. Aplex came in mid-range so they weren't the cheapest, but I felt comfortable working with them. They problem-solved around the challenges we faced with our old building and added extra value on several occasions, so I would recommend them. I would use them again.

Aplex UK answered questions about Bricklayer in Romford
I have cast iron gutters and downpipes which have cracks/holes and leaking water. Should I try and fine someone to fix this or replace with UPVC? Cost?

Good afternoon, my recommendation would be to replace in UPVC, as patch repairing old cast iron will bring problems as the years go by with further costs. with the correct Upvc that carries guarantees will last in excess of 15-20 years.
