Plumber

Adam was extremely professional throughout. From his initial contact to him completing the job. His communications were excellent keeping me informed exactly what day and time he would be coming. Whilst it was a relatively simple job his work was of a good standard. Overall I found Adam to be very personable, trustworthy and reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and would call on his services again.

Plumber

Adam came today to fit an outside tap. On top of of my original job request, we also needed a dishwasher plumbing in and the water tank overflow checking. He gave us clear pricing for the work we needed and didn't tack on any extras. All of the work was completely quickly and efficiently with no mess left behind! Very polite and trustworthy plumber with plenty of knowledge. Have passed his details on to family that need work doing and will definitely use him again. Highly recommended.

Plumber

Adam quoted me for 4 hours work, but some unexpected problems tripled his working time and still he insisted he was charging me per original quote. His honesty, hard and beautiful work impressed me so much that his number will be kept for any coming jobs in the future. Adam restored my faith in plumbers: easy communication, clean and tidy, great time keeping and excellent plumbing. Thank you!

Plumber

Adam was fantastic. He was quick to come out and quote and quick to undertake the work (installing a shower}. it took him over 2 hours more than the quoted time but he did not ask for more money. He was very friendly and I was very pleased with the finished job. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a plumber.

Plumber

Adams communication was great, he got in touch straight away and kept in touch. His timing was excellent and when doing the job a couple of other issues caused by my builder came up - he sorted these as well for the original quote. All the way through he explained what was happening, and was free with advice when asked questions. At the end of the job he cleaned up after himself. I will definitely be using Adam again....Quick, Reliable, HOnest and a nice guy. 5*

AR Plumbing & Heating answered questions about Bathroom fitter in Ilkeston

Chris Fitzjohn's question

Removed an area of blown plaster in the bathroom directly above the taps of the bath (600x600mm patch perhaps) and also areas around the window where it fell out when removing the window linings. These have been bonded back in with Thistle Bonding Coat flush with the surrounding areas. Can these be tiled over directly, or do they need a skim coat? Most information online suggests never to tile directly on bonding plaster, but when asking tillers and plasterers, they seem to be happy to do so. Any input would be great, thanks

Hi Chris, as long as you use a suitable primer on the area before you start it will be fine to tile directly on to.

The waste pipe from the toilet is leaking, will I have to replace the whole toilet or just the pipe

You should just be able to change the waste although you may well have to remove the whole toilet to get at it. As always I would suggest to get an expert in and let him deal with the problems you may encounter.
