Specialist Tradesman

Change in spec of my job which neither of us anticipated was dealt with without issue or complaint. Good guy and I would definitely use Wayne again. Recommended.

Bathroom fitter

Turned up on time but did a bad job. Toilet wasn't fitted properly or level. Used screws instead of bolts and almost came off wall till I pointed it out to him. Toilet also leaks. Couldn't fit sink as he said couldn't bolt into wall. He said he would be back to finish it, he didn't turn up. Towel rail is also leaking. All in all not one of the 4 things he fitted was done to a decent standard. Will have to get work done again properly. Waste of £300.

Great job. Managed to do the job then and there. Lucky as we had virtually no loft insulation and it was very cold at night.

Called and gave a good quote, date had to be moved due to late delivery and new date was arranged. He failed to turn up to the new date and calls and text messages were ignored. Very unhappy

Really pleased with the work. Wayne turned up on time, did the work well. Used less insulation then he thought (which I wouldn't have known) and charged me less. Thanks.

Wayne arrived for 'no-call out charge' quote visit and the day of the job on time and as arranged. He was fair, polite and pleasant and repeatedly checked that his work and any necessary alterations/suggestions were discussed with me and that they were acceptable and satisfactory to me. The work was very well done. I would use Wayne again.

Handyman

This was the only tradesman to quote for my work - so, even though he was in Sheffield & me in Notts still employed him for the job. I provided the materials & he charged £45 labour - it only took an hour - but there was travelling time & fuel included in the cost I assume. He didn't turn up when supposed to - said he had slept in. Came 6 hours later - so ended up doing the shed roof in the dark. No complaints re the work though.
