Blackdown Property Services is a local, family run building company operating across Devon and Somerset which as a family has a history of over 40 years’ experience within the building industry.

We cover all aspects of construction and home improvement so whether you are looking for a carpenter to hang some new internal doors, refit your kitchen, have an extension built and pretty much everything in between we can help. We offer a comprehensive, competitive, honest, and reliable building service and are committed to developing a trust between the company and our customers. By listening to our clients, offering relevant, factual help and advice throughout every project and ensuring close attention to detail and excellent workmanship, we believe results in complete customer satisfaction.

No matter how big or small the project we oversee everything from start to finish so you always have a single point of contact, we have developed strong working relationships with local specialist subcontractors to give us a multi skilled workforce. By keeping a close-knit team, all of whom are passionate about what we do, we believe is really important to the success of any project.

Whether you are just starting to think about a project and would like some advice or have detailed plans prepared by your own architect, we would love to hear from you. Our experience has taught us the need to be flexible as we know that every client will have different requirements and priorities. Whilst we are glad to offer help and guidance with any project, we feel communication is key from the early stages, throughout the build to final completion and we understand it is so important to listen to our clients and ensure their requirements are met in full.

Very often “site” is still your home so it is critical all our staff respect this and we strive to keep disruption to a minimum and keep the site as tidy as possible, such a simple practice costs very little to achieve, but can make such a difference and can all to easily be overlooked.
