Roofer

Simply superb. Prompt initial response, arranged convenient time to visit and assess work required, full and detailed explanation of potential issue and suggested fix, set a clear expectation for when the work would be undertaken, arrived on time and completed the roof repair to a very high standard of workmanship. All this with a very friendly, engaging and personable attitude. I would definitely recommend and use again.

My work was carried out on time and to a good standard Andrew and his lads were extremely helpful and even touched up a couple of extra bits for me whilst he was on the roof. He was very friendly, approachable and hard working I would use him and his lads again.

Roofer

Andrew and Callum were the most proficient, reliable and courteous tradespeople I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Their quote was very reasonable and they stuck to it. They keep us fully informed about their arrival because of the unpredictable weather. They went the extra mile in advising us of other potential problems regarding the roof. Highly recommended.

Hi. I have received a verbal quote, but cannot find any reviews for this person/company. Is there any way that I can find these?

Hi Jane, I would recommend you receive a written quotation, which gives a description of the work the contractor has provided a quotation for. It should also state his payment terms. It is also a binding contract if you choose to accept the quotation. As well, you will have the contractors details, should anything go wrong with the work in the future. If the contractor will not give a written quotation, my advice would be to go to another contractor who is prepared to submit a written quotation. I have recently witnessed some undesirable work carried out by so called roofers, when the house owner who had appointed the contractor tried to get them back to correct their poor workmanship, they can not locate them, and end up paying out again to have the work corrected. Many Thanks. Andrew.

Do I need a roofer to remove chimney,if not what tradesman would do that job.

Hi Dean, as most chimneys exit through the roof, I would strongly recommend you advertise your job in the Roofer category. A roofer will have the experience and Health and safety for working at heights, also the access equipment required, and finally, to re-cover the void left by the original now removed chimney. The roof requires the correct materials to match existing, and they also require to be fitted correctly. Hope this helps. Andrew.
