After noticing the lead flashing from around the chimney had been taken, leaving our upstair roof exposed to the elements we turned to this site for a roofer, and I am so glad I did. Im not sure, if Gary works alone, or with help, as we never saw him in person. He rang, visited the house, sent a picture of the work needed, did the work, and sent the completed job picture. All in 48hrs. Fantastic Service -faultless throughout. A credit to his industry that typically gets bad press. We will use again

Quick and polite response to quote request. Thoroughly assessed work required providing photograph of broken tile etc. Quotation very reasonable and work carried out the following day when the weather cleared. Excellent job, no mess, very professional. Would recommend and certainly call on again if needed.

Whilst replacing the garden fence on Good Friday we noticed that a roof tile had slipped and was in the gutter. We put our job on rated people and less than 4 hours later Gary had fixed it for us! Cannot recommend him highly enough - he was friendly, efficient and the cost was less than we expected (it was a bank holiday!) We would definitely use him again.

GM Home Improvements rang within an hour of making the initial enquiry, and visited to quote within 3 hours. The ridge replacements were done efficiently, without any fuss or mess, and Gary also kindly replaced a missing roof tile he had noticed. An excellent service, and highly recommend.

Miss Howarth Sorry but without measuring the size & inspecting the roof, I can only give you a rough idea. Between 2.5k 3.5k . Materials/scaffold & labour, permits if required. Regards Gary GM Home Improvements

In order to re-roof a mid-terraced Victorian house, do you need to put on scaffolding both at the front and the back of the house or it's the front enough? I'm asking because I live in a top floor flat and the roof needs a lot of work/fixes which is likely to require scaffolding. I'm concerned that the family living on the ground floor will not allow the roofer to pass through their flat to get to the back of the house.

Hi Andrea Sorry but yes, you will need scaffolding on both sides if the complete roof is coming off. There are many health & safety regulations you have to consider when doing this, I would speak to your neighbour & explain the situation, they are also benefiting from the new roof. Hope this helps Gary GM Home Improvements
