How much would it cost to fix a kitchen tap

Hi I live in a 1st floor flat, the hot water is stored, and the cold water is from the mains. The flat is electricity only. no gas I recently had my electric shower replaced with a non electric one. As the hot water pressure is low, we fitted a pump so there would be good water pressure. The pressure is really good now and the shower is great. However, there is a problem that the bathroom fitters cannot figure out. My hot water heats up every night on economy 7. (Between 12 and 7 am) Every morning air gets trapped and therefore no hot water comes out of the taps and shower. The air has to be released manually for it to work again. The water works for the rest of the day, and every morning after the water has heated I have the same problem We have tried fitting a new more powerfull pump. But the same problem occurs. Anyone have any ideas, We are all stumped? cheers Ravi

I work like subcontractor unde project between £50-200 million, I am young, but not stupid, so: I pay you £70 per month, your send me via email the project and if I choose firstly I am the winner or I need to auction with someone? In that mail it's everything for the project. For example to build one house, who paid the scaffolding, me or the owner? When owner give you all information, he tell you about the rice with or without the materials? We make a contract with the owner, he pay me the advance I do my job and at the end he pay me the rest of the money, but if he don't pay me? What can I do? Can I go to police with that contract? In mail, it's information about the price of roject or I need to go to negotiate with the owner!? Sorry for my englesh!

I just got our bathroom fitted and the taps on the bath move when you push or pull it. I complained and they came to look at it and said the tap is securely fitted and that if they are pulled/pushed there will be some movement as the  bath is acrylic and has some play in it. I have never seen taps not sturdy on baths or sinks. Can you advise please so I know what to do or how to handle this? Thanks a million

I am installing an Mira Event XS power shower. The unit has entry for Hot and Cold either from the top or bottom. My pipework rises up from floor height inside a stud partition and exits the wall horizontally. I want to connect a 90 degree elbow and a short section of 15mm pipe so the pipe enters the shower from the top (pipework will be inside the unit this way). This will create an "n" in the pipework. Will this cause an airlock or will the head of water + pump work any air out? Alternatively one can enter from underneath the shower but pipework will be exposed this way.

I have an oSo Unvented water heater (large white cylinder boiler). What rules are there in regards to mandatory safety checks (if any) ? Reason i am asking is because it seems to have exploded and the landlord isn't accepting liability.

Recently moved into a new build and it has been supplied with an outside tap, I've turned the stopcock for the outside on and turned the tap its self on but I have no water to the tap, it's summer and want to wash my car and garden patio but am unable to do so

Hello, I have a wall in my home up the stairs and in the upstairs landing that I want to knock down and replace with a bannister and also to reshap the bathroom. The wall has a light switch down stairs which would need to be taken out. Would a handyman be able to do this? Or do I need a qualified electrician? There is also a radiator which will need moving when the bathroom is reshaped do I need a plumber or can a handyman do this? Thanks

We have a leak from our shower which has gradually come through to the ceiling below. I think it is the sealant, but maybe a leak elsewhere - behind tap perhaps. Should I ask a tiler or a plumber?

I have a water leak. Water turned off at stopcock. Found disconnected plastic pipe behind bathroom wall. Plastic/pvc? pipe has disconnected from metal joint. How do I fix together so that water pressure does not separate them again.

How much would it be for an outside tap

We had an ground extension "bedroom and en suite" built but due to building cost increasing we decided not to have the en suite fitted and opted to do this at a later date. it has now come to that time where we are deciding how to get this fitted. which is where we feel we have a problem, There are two drainage pipes each side of the room, one for the toilet and one for the "walk in shower section". (these pipes are the same type, size etc and are both capped off currently) i know from watching the builders that both these pipes join under the extension and lead to and drop down into the manhole cover at the rear of the garden. on looking into shower drains options it seems this above mentioned connection is not correct, and the shower drain cannot drop directly into essentially the same sewage pipe because once we open the seal cap to install the shower grate this direct access will lead to the sewage gas coming up through the shower drain into the bathroom. so my question is: is there a method i.e some kind of connector to just add to the pipe to allow the shower waste to go straight down this drain (i.e a vertical waste that just slots on the end of this pvc waste pipe) or are we going to have to forget all about the shower drain and install some other piping method.

Should I have to pay for the above, if the tradesman's quote is not acceptable?

We have a old main and a new mains water pipes, I would like to connect both to the boiler so we get good water flow upstairs and downstairs. I would like to know if you can connect two mains pipes to one combo boiler
