I am moving to a new build property and need my washing machine and dishwasher to be connected. It's a quick job how much should I charge?

Hi Teresa if there is a space for a washing machine and dishwasher then normally the pipe work is already in place it's very simple to fit as the pipes just screw on then you turn the valve into the open position. I would say you would be paying a minimum around £40 for a tradesman as not only do they charge an hourly rate they have to buy your details from rated people and have travel expenses to bill for. Alternatively ask a friendly neighbour friend or relative. Good luck hope that helps.

Is this a good solution for providing sound insulation in between plasterboard walls and ceilings?

Hi aj. Celotex is a good sound proofer. But its expensive. However it is very good insulation so if you want both then celotex is the answer. If you just want sound proofing then just use the normal rockwall or fibre glass is much cheaper and does the same job for sound.
