Jamie came to our house to do a day of various jobs. His reply to my ad was very speedy and his communication was excellent. The jobs were carried out quickly and professionally. And all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. We look forward to working with Jamie again in the future.

Jamie was professional and pleasant, got on with the jobs and cleaned up after himself. I ended up asking him to do a few other jobs (picture hanging). All were done well and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Thanks Jamie!

Plasterer / Renderer

Jamie was great at getting in touch, and confirming a date and time for the work. He was cheerful and polite when he arrived and carried out the plastering work to a high standard, and cleaned up well after himself. He was also very fair on the price, as he offered to reduce it after the work because the job had taken him less time than he expected. Would definitely recommend Jamie.

Jamie replied almost immediately to my listing despite it being late at night and he arrived, as promised, at midday the next day to review the job. He implemented a temporary repair to allow water to be restored to the house and then undertook a permanent, quick and value for money repair. Excellent service and will use again.

's question

Hi I've recently decorated our front room which included skimming of plasterwalls. But, following the recent very wet/windy weather a small patch of paint has bubbled up beneath the UPVC windows. I've checked the windows and their doesn't seem to be an issue with the sealant but our rendering is very old and does seems blown in parts close to where the water has come in. Been in the house for 2yrs (also windows are approximately 2yrs old) and no problems before but rendering is over 50yrs old, Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi Claire sounds like it is render but without looking at it I would not say 100% but if the render is cracked and blown this can cause water to penetrate through wall causing problems to inside decorations. Hope that helps plasterworx

Yes can be replaced easy but what caused them to crack?
