Bathroom fitter

Great quality, on time, and within budget. I needed an old bathroom converted to a walk-in shower and modern facilities for an elderly relative. This was a big job, but Jaimie managed the family's expectations and involved them appropriately every step of the way. The result is a contemporary, highly functional environment to disability standards which we are all extremely happy with. I run a national charity for older people and I would recommend Jaimie for his professionalism and empathy. He delivers.

Jamie has done an excellent job of refurbishing my bathroom using good quality fitments and I am very pleased. He also fitted a beautiful ceramic sink in my kitchen which has transformed it. He kept me up to date with invoices via email along the way and is not expensive for the quality of the work. I thoroughly recommend him.

Nothing but praise for Jim Durant's great work. We had some awkward bathroom repairs to do on a flat which turned out more of an emergency than originally thought. JIm was quick to respond, happy to liaise with tenants to get in and assess what needed to be done and gave a very competitive quote with a clear breakdown of the job. Turns out there were added issues in the room backing on to the bath. Jim sorted this too for little more than the original quote. Fast and tidy to the content of the tenants. 5*

Jim has done a great job on my bathroom within the estimated timelines. He kept me informed of the progress and updated me on a daily bases. He gave me a good and professional advice, which gave me a piece of mind that I'm in safe hands. Very pleased with the final result - highly recommended tradesman!

Overall very happy with the job. Jim's cuts on the first day were great, but some on the 2nd/3rd day were not the same standard. Which lets the tiling down in places. Jim did use the tiles efficiently which meant I was able to get him todo my hall as a extra job. The major shame of the whole job was that it took 4 days to get the final 3 tiles grouted. Also was promised extra grout would be left. But it wasn't.

After struggling for a few weeks trying to do our bathroom myself, my wife persuaded me to get a tiler. We posted the job on here and Jim responded. He came in and not only did he do a great job of tiling, he fixed up a lot of the mistakes I had made beforehand. He was very friendly and gave great advice. He called me every evening to talk about the job. There were a few unexpected costs but they weren't really Jims fault. The workmanship was great and we're really pleased with the end result. Thanks Jim.

Hi there if its only down on concrete cut the grout out so threes nothing touching the other floor tile and then give the centre a good wack with a hammer until it splits eventually you will be able to break it out. the carefully take out the adhesive .. if its a wooden floor come back to me. rgrds jim

The ceramic floor tiles in our kitchen are cracking and breaking and we are not sure why. We damaged one tile slightly which made a hole about the size of a 10p and now cracks have appeared on several other tiles around it. we also have cracks in areas not directly connected to the original damaged tile. Where one of the tiles has broken away we can see here is a certain amount hollow area, but we also have under floor heating so perhaps this is necessary? The question is how do we find out why they are breaking and try to fix them and stop this happening in the future?

Hi Laura , is it a concrete or wooden floor. it could be many things . sub floor moving. not enough adhesive hasn't been bonded before hand and floor has blown. if you have cracks every where sound as if it hasn't been done correctly. sound to me like you should think about ripping it out and getting a flooring specialist like me to fix it. rgrds jim jnddevelopments.net
