Gas / Heating engineer

Prior to Xmas our oil fired boiler broke down. I contacted Rated People and Nash Plumbing got in touch. After discussion it was decided they quote for a new boiler in garage. I agreed with price and they could start right away. They were efficient, clean and professional. I would certainly recommend them.

It is rare these days to find a tradesman that do such a fantastic Job as Richard Nash and Phil. Both were brilliant and despite the job becoming far more complicated than first thought, they took it in their stride. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone A great team From Tony Tiffen Summerhill in Pembrokeshire

Plumber

Richard & Phil turned up on time as arranged. They were very professional at all times and changed the combi boiler with a minimum of fuss. Descriptive demonstration on how to use the boiler was given. I would certainly use them again if/when required and would fully recommend their services. SA34

Bathroom fitter

Richard (& Phil) turned up when they said they would. I was kept informed of any issues that occurred during the installation, which meant the cost would be different from the quote. I was given advice on the choice of shower that would best suit our needs-I'm glad of that advice. They worked cleanly and took away all the waste materials at the end of the task. I would recommend Richard and Nash Plumbing Ltd.

Had problem with diverter valve on combi boiler. Richard and Phil arrived as arranged and looked at the boiler defect. Did appear to repair defect, however the fault returned. A call to Richard with boiler details and the relevant part was ordered. Richard returned to replace defective part and boiler now functioning correctly. A great service. Thank you.

I have no gas in my flat, only Electric. My water is not heating overnight although I can manually heat water. My storage heater in my lounge is working correctly.

If you are on econony 7 then your hot water tank will have two elements in it, one at the bottom and one at the top. The one at the bottom will be the one that heats water through the night and the one at the top is boost/manual. Either the thermostat has burnt out or the element is faulty in the bottom one. It is also possible that the timeclock/switch is faulty. An electrician should be able to test this and find the fault.
