Used this company for roof repairs on a bungalow. Communication was excellent before and during the job. Tom arrived on time, explained what he was going to do and started the job. The quality of work was very good and the job was finished well within the estimated time. Everything was left clean and tidy at the end. The price quoted did not seem exorbitant, so all in all we were very happy and have no complaints at all. We will definitely use this company again. Thanks for a job well done.

We were very happy with Mark's work on our leaking roof. He talked through the areas that needed fixing with pictures and did what he said he would within the budget agreed. He was reliable and came on time and tidied up afterwards. I would hire him again.

Mark responded quickly to my request for the shed roof repair and replacement decking, he was very knowledgeable and suggested the best options for completing the task. Together with his son James they arrived on time each day and worked solidly throughout the day to complete the job and we were impressed the quality work and how clean the garden, outside pathway and grassed area was left when they finished and have already decided to have additional work carried out and would recommend Mark Newman & Sons

Mark was very thorough in assessing the job, identifying underlying problems which had not been visible to me. He showed me the problems & advised a solution. He sourced new roof tiles which were not locally available & qouted for the job. He arrived with his son the following day & did a thorough job, resulting in the removal of the redundant flue pipe rather than a repair to it, making a better repair. They went above & beyond when cleaning up afterwards & I would have no hesitation in using them again.

Mark responded very quickly and assessed the job required. He and son Tommy did excellent work and advised on other things which needed attention. I had no hesitation in immediately engaging him to de-moss and clean my roof to a very high standard.. Would highly recommend Mark and son for their high standard of work, friendly and personable manner and for leaving a clean site on completion.

We use a rotary jet of just water because normal jetting will cause more harm than good And with our machines it gets all the moss out of the tiles including acid Rain discolouring .be careful climbing around on roofs !. Mark Newman

Can I remove / shorten and seal off a shared chimney stack with a next door neighbour with their permission? And what sort of money are we talking about?

Hello Andrew .are we talking about removing the stack from inside the loft Or complete removal outside of our part ?? If its inside than you take out the brickwork and fit nesercery supports To hold the rest of the stack(gallow brackets) Not a major job Outside depends how big and access to the stack for scaffolding but all can be done Hope this helps cheers mark Newman
