Jason was such a polte nice fella as were all the different tradesmen that came and did my bedroom but Jason was the person i had most dealings with. I gave them a blank canvas to work with and gave them just a few instructions so it was all there idea what they did and i have got to say what a great job they did. The work was all done to a high standard and they cleaned up everyday at the end of shift. The price was good and i must say would highly recommend them to anyone.

Used Jason and the lads for a re-roof. Great lads, polite and friendly. Came everyday on time and stayed all day until the work was finished. Great price and did all work they said in the quote. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would use them again. Kev

Jason was very pleasant, friendly and polite. He was a very skilled worker, who did an excellent job at a good price. The work was carried out to a very high standard with minimum disruption and he ensured that everywhere was cleaned up at the end of each day. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be using him for any future work.

Plasterer / Renderer

Used Jason to resolve some pointing/ plastering: gutter issues in early spring. He changed part of our guttering to stop damp cause but the connection was too small. He told us to call him if it didn't resolve the problem and he'd return with the right sized fitting. Tried calling him multiple times to come back and finish the work, never returned our calls. The problem has now escalated costing us an extra £300. Left considerable mess and sloppy plaster edges. Wouldn't recommend.

Renov8 My Property answered questions about Bricklayer in Manchester

Jonathan Brown's question
Tue 8 Jan 2019 20:6pm

I have a balcony over my garage. It is leaking water. To replace it I am told felt might not wear well but that fibre glass might not set well in winter and would also be slippy when wet. Someone else advised bitumen. What is best ?

I would recommend fibre glass 3 layer system for walking on. It will set well if apply correctly with the right amount of harder ( in dry conditions ) 25 year guarantee.

Stephanie Bell's question

I have a damp wall in the kitchen near the door , I think that it maybe from a crack in the peppledash outside. Who would be the appropriate tradesman to look at that problem thanks

  • Jason Roswell's Answer

This could be the render or rising damp if the damp is lower than 3ft but could also be as simple as the sealant around the door has failed It's hard to say without viewing the issue
