Wooden Doors - Internal
happy with the work although the second door we filed our self in the end . The only thing was we didn't like being pressed to pay a few hours after the job was finished. We would of paid it anyway the same night.
Leadwork
Steve done a terrible job of the lead flashing to my conservatory. Lead was dressed very poorly. Sealant was applied badly and looked very messy. After Steve left on closer inspection lead was coming away from wall which would obviously cause seriously leaks. When I raised these issues with Steve he seemed to find the whole thing amusing and joked about not having charged enough Really disappointed that whole thing has to be ripped off and re-done. Photos of the work will be emailed to support these claims

Steve also DID NOT oil the lead which has subsequently oxidised and turned white. Now when it rains the windows on my conservatory are covered in white stains - thanks Steve! He tried telling me that the lead dosent need oil, utterly ridiculous. I paid Steve for the work on completion as I was not fully aware of how bad the quality of that job was at that point. Steve has demonstrated to me a complete incompetence and unwillingness to admit his wrong doings. Very disappointed and frustrated cheers Steve

Steve has refused to refund any of the money to help me pay for the work to be ripped out and started again. Even if he did offer to come back I wouldn’t let him as I have no confidence in his abilities. He barely replies to txts and ignores phone calls an admittion of guilt in itself. I would not recommend Steve, or use his services again.

Lead dressing dressed down poorly as the sealant was wet this was explained to the customer at the time. As for the lead to be oiled this was not asked for at the time myself and the customer were both fitting the panels together for the roof was only asked for two days after the job was completed. I explained that I would require a 5M walkboard and supports. This work would cost extra. I have refused to return due to the way I have been spoken too verbally and by text.Payment was made in full on completion

Steve told me the job would take 1 day. You say the lead was dressed poorly because the sealant was still wet. If you can’t complete a job to a satisfactory standard in 1 day then surely you would quote the job on the basis that It should take 2 days so it can be completely adequately. It’s not rocket science. Regarding the oiling of the lead you, Steve are the roofer i have limited knowledge of this trade which is why I employed someone to undertake the work for me. Surely you would advise me

The lead needs oiling. Instead of just saying it’s my fault because I did t ask for it. Even though at that stage I was unaware it was a essential part of the job. I wouldn’t have you back here Steve as you couldn’t do the job to a acceptable standard first time round so why would second time be any different. Shocking work practices.
Slate & Tiled Roof
Job was finished well ,clean and tidy over priced but happy its finished took a long time as rain stopped work and finishing off other jobs ,van trouble nice man

Estimated job to take two days it over run due to how badly the valleys were done by the builder.So the job took four days so had to come back as had other work booked in ..Stripped and rebeded 10m of ridge tiles ,stripped part roof re cut valley tiles of aprox 3m each side, replaced part lead and rebeded all tiles and as a good will as the job took longer repointed more ridge tile no charge thanks Steve
