Plasterer / Renderer

This was a relatively small plastering job. Adrian arrived on time to quote and arrived the next morning to carry out the work.. Therefore I judge him as reliable. Indeed, he's keen to appear so. His quote was realistic and reasonable and from this point of view he comes across as honest and genuine. He was tidy and efficient in carrying out the work. Made and left no mess and was anxious to please. His work was a good standard and I was pleased I used him and would certainly do so again. A good man !

Bricklayer

Adrian arrived on time for the appointment to quote for the job . The job was carried out and he took pictures to demonstrate the work he had carried out [this was necessary as you cannot see the chimney in detail from the ground] I would definitely recommend him and I will be using him again for some repointing work outside my cottage.

This gentleman is a real gem. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He was reliable, trustworthy, finished the job on time, took away the rubbish & did an excellent job. As he has just started using Rated People he provided contact details for references, which I did follow up. As the work needed was on the roof & in the attic & i couldn't check it, he took lots of photos, before he started work, work in progress & the finished work - brilliant. I will def hire him in future.

Hi, I have spotted water leaking through the ceiling and down a chimney breast in an upstairs bedroom. It's quite minor currently inside the room. I have found an area in the loft, around the breast, where water is seeping through and collecting in the insulation. Is this likely to be a flashing/mortar problem? Is it like to be an expensive repair?

hi Andrew,it seems like the flashing around the chimney and possibly the felt around the stack it self ] normally rots of after 10 years or so ,price depends on how easy is it to get to the chimney and how high the building is thanks ady
