Thank you for the work carried out - the kitchen and hall/ stairway. We are very pleased with the finished result. It was carried out in an efficient way - very professional, tidy and clean workers and all done very quickly at a very competitive price. We will certainly use you again and would recommend you to our friends. John Patterson 24th January 2018

Tudor tiled two bathrooms and wallpapered two ceilings for me - very professional job and very nice guys. Hard working and on time every day. Would highly recommend them. Even went out of his way to paint some tricky ceiling sections after I mentioned i was struggling with them. Thanks for the good job!

Bathroom fitter

I would highly recommend Tudor. Tudor is polite and is excellent at explaining what needs to be done and why. He and his team turn up on time and are exceptionally clean. They communicate what they are doing and happily and easily explain what they are doing throughout the process. They also work hard to get things done on time. Tudor also has a good eye for finishing touches and excellent attention to detail. His prices are also highly competitive. Overall, it was a very easy and pleasant experience.

Tudor and his assistant did a phenomenal, professional job. Not only painting to a high standard but protected the floors and furniture in the process. When I requested for minor additional works they helped with no fuss. Highly recommend and would have to say it was the best trade job I have seen.

Tudor did such a good job I asked him to quote for some additional decorating work (painting and tiling). The work has already been completed and was really good value for money. Tudor is coming back again in a few months to complete some more work for us. Tudor is reliable, respectful and hard working. Worth saying that we weren't able to be in the house the whole time he was working and we felt comfortable leaving Tudor to get on with everything. We would definitely recommend.

Tudor was fantastic. I had initially found an alternative tradesperson to complete the job who let us down. Tudor provided a competitive quote, was able to start the job at very short notice and worked extremely efficiently. He managed to complete our job in a shorter time than anticipated whilst retaining a great finish on the work. We were just tidying up our house in anticipation of selling so when we move I won't hesitate to use Tudor for further work in future and I would recommend him to anyone.

How likely is it that Artex will fall off a ceiling after it has been plastered over? One plasterer we have had to quote said he would prefer to board over the Artex to rule out this possibility. Is this really necessary? Thank you.

Hi Before you plaster a ceiling you have to scrape the Artex of its pointy bits. If large chunks won't come of during this barbaric treatment I think you will be safe to plaster over. Apply 3 coats of PVA and leave to dry.

I have a ground floor flat built in 1900. I have carpets now, which I like to be removed and replaced with laminate. The central heating works fine and the flat warms up very quickly, however, even at the height of summer floors radiate very cold air upwards. I believe the foundation is a mixture of concrete and timber. How could I best provide extra insulation to stop this coldness coming through? I don't have damp.

Hi, If you go for laminate flooring go for the thickest- 12 mm and for underlay I will recommend 6mm fibreboard (green planks). You will probably have to trim some doors as the level of the rooms will rise . All the best. Tudor
