Condensation off toilet system

Posted by Dawn Mumford, on
I have down stairs bathroom. The toilet is built in & seems to have water all over the toilet system which is caursing water to drip on my floor all under my flooring. Is there any way to stop the condonsation developing on the toilet system?

Dawn... the reason this is happening is due to lack off or inadequate ventilation, within the bathroom. I would get the extractor upgraded, or one fitted. The windows looked at if in place... these factors affect condensation especially with a towel warmer or radiator on... also, if the bypass towel warmer or radiator is in this room, get this looked at also. I hope this helps! J Ireland Plumber

You could try getting an insulation jacket of the size we would usually fit to an expansion tank in the loft 10 gallon wrap it around the toilet cistern this should help with the condensation problem
