When will they admit it ?

Posted by Mr Angry, on
When will rated people admit that their changes are all about making more money for themselves and nothing at all to do with helping the tradesman. Do they think we are idiots ? I have send 3 emails now and no replys from the customer service people !

Hello Natalie Seems like the frustration of waiting for a response from RP is getting to a few people, myself included. . I sent an email a few weeks ago and all I got was a generic email explaining again that the changes made are better for us. I send one yesterday expressing my concerns at the quality of leads being peddled to us even after these so called improvements, no reply yet.Unfortunately for RP we were not born yesterday and it's very clear the changes made are not in our interest, so why treat us like fools and expect us to believe your blatant lies? Your customer service is appalling and if I treated my customers the way RP have treated myself and the growing numbers of unhappy tradesman on this site then I would be both ashamed and embarrassed . You have my number on file and I look forward to hearing what you have to say...but I won't hold my breath for a call.

Rated don't want trader discussing it with each other,,, what happened to freedom of speach. There are lots I don't agree with on this site, but rated don't want to know. I look forward to them contacting me.

Yes they are out to make money just as we are, but if my customer service was as bad as theirs then i wouldn't be in business very long ! Just out of interest I went to post a job the other day ( i didn't go all the way obviously) but up until the point of no return It was not made obvious to me at any point that the tradesman pays for the lead. If you read the "how it works" page then yes it does, but how many people bother to read that ?

We always recomend to post a job on main website because some of a job needs to be seen before any advice is given. Our service is free of charge with no obligation quote and our tradesmans are happy to help with every aspects of jobs. I would strongly recomend to post a job on Rated People home page then 3 companies will get in touch then you would be able to choose the right person as you would receive an e mail with a link to tradesman account where you would see a pictures and you will read revious from previous customers. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal

I agree with you 100% mate to the extent of not renewing my membership I will be looking elsewhere for work as it's obviously only set up to put money in their pockets. .

I know it's greedy, the credit request has gone and I'm getting really pissed off with customers just using rp as a rough guide It's no good at all,

I was away for 2months in oz.when I came back they had made changes to the way things are done.eg. no claims .I have asked 3 times for a call back but 6 weeks later still waiting. I think its called customer service.

Everyone's in it to make money we all wouldn't be on this sight other wise. Yes it's wrong that people are losing out on money becuase of the report a lead going but at the end of the day I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for rated people. Pick your jobs wisely and make sure you've got enough ratings and pictures to build the trust with the customer before even quoting. I've never had problems with any of the customer services I allways deal direct with a Adam walker and allways get the response I want even if it means I've lost out on a few quid at least there acknowledging it and sorting it out

well I think they should be doing more to consult their paying customers i.e. us - the tradesman - so they can realise something to admit. Hard fact - they are about making money as much as we are which is fair Hard fact - supposed improvements to service don't make it easier for us to win work. Lead costs are not cheaper (as we were told when the service improvements were made and there are just as many timewasters Hard fact - replacing the report a lead function with a call back request doesn't do anything to eliminate time wasters Have said it already but I don't see how doing away with credit request for bad leads can make them anymore money. Tradesmen wont be as competitive in buying so many leads because there's more risk involved BRING BACK THE REPORT A LEAD FUNCTION AND REFUND COSTS OF BAD LEADS

What would you like to do now?
