Another unhappy customer!

Posted by Ann Other, on
When will they see sense? You need to listen to you customers and bring back refunds for dud jobs instead of leaving your customers to pick up the bill! Other recent questions show the strength of feeling amongst the trades who use this site.

Hi Ann I don't think common sense is in great supply at this company! They know the changes are wrong, their customers know the changes are wrong but they persist in carrying on like nothings wrong! It would take a complete idiot to come up with these changes and think they would get away with it, whatever they may think the building trade isn't full of thicko's waiting to be ripped off!

I am increasingly unhappy being expected to pay for "leads" when so often work has been complete even before I manage to speak to individual involved,it is a canny way of making money, just get the telephone directory if business is short and pick out a few names

Well said. I have not purchased 1 lead since they changed it. I used to get 2 or 3 per month knowing that if it was dud I would get credit. They must be noticing the difference in the amount of leads purchased. A lot of the leads on here are from quote hunters just enquiring how much a job would cost if they did want it doing. I would also like to know how they work out how much each lead costs. How can an extension job with a budget of say 30K have a lead price of say £30 then I landscaping job with the same budget cost more?Surely the lead price should be dependent on budget not type of work that's involved. Come on rated people we need these questions answering or you will start losing the tradesmen, who, at the end of the day pay your wages!
