I have a damp patch on an internal wall

There is a damp patch just over my door in the bathroom, this is an internal wall. what do i do?

Hi Keli, If it is between the top of the door and the ceiling, and there is no pipe nearby, then there is a good chance that this is a condensation problem. Do you have an extractor fan fitted? You need to increase air flow. If it is reaching the ceiling then you should check from the above floor or loft space to see if there are any tanks or pipes that could be dripping. Hi Keli Could be condensation/ leaking pipe / hole in the roof,, make sure you have window open as much as you can when using the bathroom.. Do you have an electric fan ? Regards Barry

Could be condensation - do you have an extractor fan which works? Also ensure the window is opened after showering etc.
